Patricia Rossi Photography – Natural Light Bay Area Photographer

Sunset is always a favorite light to shoot, and whenever I can pick up the time of the shooting that is what I always go for.
Vanessa is my good and long time friend. We went to college together, party together and became best friends ever since. She is beautiful inside and out and I was so happy when she asked to be photographed by me.
She has always been very supportive with my photography and I am very pleased to have her images blogged ;)

Happy Friday everyone and have a great weekend!

Twelve times: Personal project {1/12} – San Francisco Bay Area Photographer

Hi all and welcome to 2012 project. Last year we had a great group doing our Project 52, but I have to confess kipping up with one theme every week was a bit too challenging!

For this year I decided to take it easy and instead of 52 times, I’ll be working on 12 posts, once a month, on every third Wednesday of the month.  My goal is to make this project personal, so I can register my family including myself in some of these images (which hardly happens, I know).

The first big and exciting news for 2012 is the rebranding of my business. Sadly Lullu Little will have to go and “Patricia Rossi Photography” will be replacing it soon.  I’ll miss Lullu Little so much, specially because that was the way everything really started. Lullu Little really mean a lot to me but I have to confess the new brand will make my business more personal. People will be talking to me as my name, and not with a cute name, unsure who is behind it. I’m very happy to share this with you and let you know new exciting site will be coming live soon. Besides families, seniors, maternity and newborn portraits, I’ll be also adding a whole new wedding section for couples in love looking for great eyes to photograph their special day!

So, lots of great things happening in 2012, the year of the Dragon (if you believe in the chinese zodiac). And since we are talking chinese, here is my fortune cookie,  with some good fortune in it, my new logo…….

Enjoy our smaller, but very talented circle and come back soon!

Now go ahead and chaeck what Suzanne O’Brien Studios has captured for her first post!

Registering the right now {San Jose Newborn Photographer}

How many of you have said “I’ll wait to loose some weight so I can look pretty on the pictures” – How many of you have procrastinated, or have the most ridiculous 10 extra pounds holding you back? All I have to say about this whole “waiting for the perfect time to be photographed”,  is that time won’t stop tic-tacking to wait for you, neither you kids will stop growing until the extra pounds fly away (if they ever do…).  The right time to register your family is right now, before this blessed time of your life is gone. Kids change every day, and you want look back and see beautiful images of the best laugh, the snuggles and the memories of the today’s experience.

What I love the most about newborn session is the fact you moms can’t wait to loose the extra pounds to be photographed! There is no excuses, or they won’t have the newborn images they’ve always wanted.  Moms who just delivered their baby, don’t feel their best, sexiest or even prettiest. The day of the session is probably the first day they blow dry their hair and put some make up on after their baby is born. And those images ended up being my favorite of all times not because people look pretty, but because they are real life, real love, real moments that won’t be back, and that we definitely want to remember. Because that is what make people look beautiful!!!!….I love the simplicity, the bare, the truth on these images so much.

This is why I will yell out loud: “THE BEST TIME TO REGISTER YOUR FAMILY IS  R-I-G-T-H–N-O-W” And don’t forget, I’m here to capture your family, on a most genuine way, always!

Have a great evening!

LOVE, P.
