YEAH!!!!! YEAH!!!! One hundred times YEAH!!!!!!! We have made it……a whole YEAR, 52 WEEKS of project 52 has come to its end!
I couldn’t be happier for this big accomplishment and all the great friendship we made with this group. It was a whole year of weekly chit chats, advices, and great themes. And I’m glad thiis big commitment is over and even happier we will be continuing with a different project in 2012! Perhaps with the same group, or at least some of the girls.
For the new year our goal is to do a personal project involving our family as subject, this way we get to register some more of our family, that most of the time is left unregistered. I’m excited for all the 2012 will bring and I can’t wait to share this with you.
This week the theme is “favorite image”. For the last week of Project 52, and also my last post of the year, I decided to do a collection of my 12 28 most favorite images of the year. Time flies by so quickly and it feels so good to go back to all my sessions during the past year and do a retrospective of my work, see the improvement compared to other years and be happy memories all those moments memorable!
Here are my 12 28 favorite, I have to confess that it was so hard to choose only 12, so I had to change ….

Now keep going on the circle and check the fabulous Suzanne Carey Photography - Hattiesburg, MS to find out what is her take for the last week of this project!
It’s been quite a journey with the 52 project. The year is almost over, only one more week to go and I can proudly say, we are about to accomplish this very long but rewarding project. If you have been following our journey, I’m very thankful for keeping up with me(us). I’ll be probably doing something similar for 2012, but instead of I’ve a week, I’ll commit with once a month project.
We love the holiday season and all the good feeling that comes with that. We like to read The Grinch stole Christmas” and make sure we remember Christmas is not about presents and Santa Claus. We really enforce the real meaning of the season and we feel blessed for all we have.
These portraits are from Luna and her best friend Nico. They love to play, and they love to be silly, but they just don’t enjoy to be photographed as much as they used to!
To all of you reader, clients, friends and family, we wish you a great holiday season.

We are here on a count down for Christmas….patiently waiting to see if we have been on the “nice” list. Sometimes I feel terrible threatening my child with Santa,” …if you don’t listen I’ll need to have a conversation with Santa” - I say! Isn’t that so bad? Well, at least it works at his time of the year.
Here goes a little bit of color and happiness to make you smile on a Thursday morning. Second time photographing this little cute and I just love all her sassiness and good laughs.
Enjoy!

Happy Friday, happy holidays, happy everything!
We are heading to the end of 2011 and also happily and proudly of accomplishing another year of lots of good things including the marvelous, ferocious and sometimes scary Project 52! It was a great way of keeping good friendship with all the girls participating on this journey and also of challenging my brain to work hard and keep up with one picture a week, the WHOLE, INTIRE year! 2 more weeks to go and we will be DONE! But not for good, 2012 is just around the corner and we have another secret project coming up…….stay tuned!
For this week the theme is frozen, freeze, winter…….Ya, for many of you, snow, snowman, snowy nigh, Santa on the sleigh…..not here baby! The sun still shines and not very long ago we had warm days……and we can still enjoy the ice cream after school…..yeah, frozen ice cream! This is what we have for you….. But, for real, deep down inside, I wish we could have one single day (no more than that) of snow, so we could do snow angels……and snowman! ….la, la, la, la, la….”Frosty the snowman is a fairy tale, they say, he was made of snow but the children know how he came to life one day.”
Smack!
