Project 52: Week 11 | GREEN

Happy Friday everyone! Here we are again with another week of Project 52.  Green is a very popular word nowadays…everyone wants to go green and help our planet to be a better place to live in the future. Green is the color of beginning of spring, when the grass is new and bright. Green is gracious but for some unknown reason, not my favorite color. I’ve tried to incorporate more of it on my pictures lately and really love the image below.

This picture was taken in the beautiful  San Luis Obispo last Friday. I have decided I want to get into the wedding world of photography and went to do a mentoring session with the very talented  Wedding Photographer Cameron Ingalls. I first met him in 2006 when he photographed my friend’s wedding. Since then I’ve been following his blog, and watching him grow beautifully as an artist. I love his style, his way of capturing people, his colors. I’m glad we were able to coordinate this meeting! I got pretty excited to spend the day with him and learn from whom I have admired for quite a while. The day went by so fast with lots to absorb. We completed our day with this fun engagement session at this amazing field with lots of new green! The light was beautiful and I love to walk beside Cameron watching his natural and simple way of capturing love. So for today challenge, here is my green.

Hope you enjoy!

Now go to Santa Cruz – Aroha Photography and check Gail Pomare’s awesome work!
